Brazil has been the leader in the world's largest beef exporter since 2008 and statistics also show growth for the coming years.

In addition, the Ministry, with the State Secretaries of Agriculture, promotes wide inspection, aiming at the conformity between the Brazilian industrial and sanitary inspection legislation and the sanitary norms required by the importing country


Chicken
Chicken meat is the most exported in Brazil - passing the beef - and is present in a total of 158 countries in the world. The largest consumer of Brazilian chicken today is Saudi Arabia, which owns 17% of our exports, followed by China, with 11.5%.
Brazil is also the world's largest chicken exporter, having shipped four million tons of the product in the last year. The United States is the second largest exporter of this type of meat, exporting three million tons over the same period.
In the first half of 2016, Brazil already exported 2.22 million tons of meat - 276 thousand tons more than in 2015. According to data released by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein, good numbers at the beginning of the year guaranteed a Increase of 13% in exports compared to the first half of 2015.
